2012
17 June
Yes participated as the platinum sponsor for the first time in the 2012 Ipoh International Starwalk, which saw more than 15,000 participants, including Yes staff member, come together to walk for a good cause.
18 September
Yes participated as the platinum sponsor in the 2012 Penang International Starwalk. The event saw more than 21,000 participants, the biggest turnout of participants since its inception.
28 November
Yes launched the Huddle XS – Small and Powerful Movement, challenging the public to bring about positive change by performing selfless acts of kindness for random strangers.

2013
25 April
Teacher’s Association and the School Board of Directors, launched Malaysia’s first Chrome Lab at the school. The Chrome Lab was fully equipped with Yes 4G Chromebook units donated by YTL Communications.
16 June
Yes participated again in the 2013 Ipoh International Starwalk as platinum sponsor. The 2013 Ipoh Starwalk saw more than 17,000 participants.
12 August
Yes staff members, together with the senior management of YTL Communications, visited five welfare homes and brought Ramadan festive cheer to a total of 280 orphans, senior citizens and the disabled folks.
15 September
Yes participated again in the 2013 Penang International Starwalk as platinum sponsor. The 2013 Penang Starwalk saw more than 20,000 participants.
10 November
Yes sponsored the 2013 Frost & Sullivan’s “Frost The Trail” Corporate Challenge Charity Run. Donations collected during the event went directly to Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim/Miskin Darul Hikmah and Shelter Home for Children.

2014
20 January
Yes donated 100 Chromebooks to the Fulbright ETA programme. 100 Fulbright ETAs from the United States will be stationed in various schools across the country to assist in English language education.
30 May
YTL Communications sponsored Samsung 4G Chromebooks and Yes 4G mobile Internet connectivity for the Kuala Lumpur Mayor’s Tourism Awards 2014 (KLMTA 2014) to assist the platform’s panel of judges in their task of awarding points to the shortlisted nominees, transforming the whole process into an environment-friendly, paperless, digital platform.
14 June

14 August
YTL Communications, in collaboration with Multiple Technology MSC Sdn Bhd, EduSpec Holding Bhd and SJK(C) Keng Chee in Pulau Ketam, launched the “1 Murid, 1 Chromebook” programme to provide the students of the remote primary school with quality learning made possible by Internet technology.
26 August
YTL Communications donated 30 units of Samsung GALAXY Tab S and 30 units of Yes Broadband Huddles to Hospis Malaysia as part of an effort to upgrade the institute’s patient management system. The new system aims to improve the quality of patient care and ease the process of auditing and research for the organisation.

1 October
YTL Communications, in collaboration with EduSpec Holding, Dynabook Computer Centre and SJK(C) Shih Chung Cawangan, launched the “Digital School 2.0” programme. The inception of the “Digital School 2.0” programme is in line with the vision of the 1BestariNet project to equip all 10,000 national primary and secondary schools across Malaysia with high-speed Yes 4G Internet and the Frog VLE.
21 October
Yes participated in the inaugural 2014 Bursa Bull Charge as the event’s Jumbo Bull Sponsor, a charity run organised as Bursa Malaysia as a way of giving back to the community by raising funds for local communities. The event saw more than 1,300 participants from over 130 corporate organisations, including Yes staff members and the top management team of YTL Communications.

29 May
Under the “Classroom Makeover” project, a team of 25 YTL Communications’ employees volunteered to transform an old classroom into a more conducive learning environment for students of SJKC Sam Tet, Ipoh by working together to paint, repair, redecorate and clean up a classroom in the school.
12 June
In continuation of the “Classroom Makeover” project, YTL Communications embarked on yet another journey to transform an old classroom at SMK Tanjung Sepat into a more conducive learning environment, this time with volunteers from the IT department.
